The only I remember using the mic was for the mini game in SM64DS, Feel the Magic, Rub Rabbit, and Pokemon Platinum to voice chat with my friends.

wasnt the third thing either sorry i just remember it being a song that accompanied a trailer for the game but the trailer instead of showing off any gameplay was just like "heres a pic of one of the girls and that dude's mask slowly falls from the top of the screen into her hands while that music plays and then they show a bunch of random character art and show a release date" or whatever
