I'm not going to pretend I have an opinion on Lovecraft since I've never read anything by him and most of what I hear is pretty polarizing, but he directly/indirectly inspired a lot of stuff I dig so I guess that makes us even.

I bought a couple of Lovecraft anthologies and got maybe 60% through both of them and never touched them again, and also got a huge Howard digital anthology with like all the Conan stories that has been a great purchase because it's on my phone and I can pull up a Conan story when I don't have a lot of time to read and don't want to start a full novel. I'm a little over halfway through it at this point but am not in a huge hurry to finish or anything. I put some of the Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser omnibus books on my phone as well and they're a nice alternative when I'm not really in the mood for Conan but still want something along those lines.
