He'd be better served saying he's going to build a wall around Iowa and deport all the Mexicans there if they love them so much

My theory that Bush really wants to drop out but can't yet because of all the money behind him, is supported further by the fact that Bush is trying to burn his money as fast as possible. Who in their right minds would publish a 47 page glossy JEB! magazine, or send out LCD screen mailers? Someone who is desperately trying to claim he's broke and wants to get out of the race. I've didn't even know LCD mailers were a thing, they must have cost at least $20 each and went to thousands of homes.

He's not stuck, his donors are trying to get him to drop out. If Rubio does well in NH Donors are going to start jumping ship en masse. I'd say he's been on damage control since IA began, begging people to not switch until at least New Hampshire. Jeb Bush said the beauty of low expectations lied in the ease in outperforming them. He under performed his already abysmal expectations, coming in behind a guy who dropped out already. The Bush family is already expending political capital at a ridiculous rate and asking people to pour money into one of the most embarrassing super tuesday losses ever is something that even Jeb might think twice about.

Meanwhile, on Morning Joe, Santorum was asked what Rubio's accomplishments were: "The bottom line is there isn't a lot of accomplishments, Joe, and I just don't think it's a fair question to say – over the last four years where nothing has happened and then blame one person because he didn't get accomplishments done. Neither did President Obama. Well, I know [Rubio] included something that went after the insurance companies in the most recent omnibus. He fought for that, to stop bailing out insurance companies. That's one thing I'm familiar that I just saw recently."

This is such a bizarre line of defense. Asking Santorum what Rubio's accomplishments are, Santorum says you can't blame Rubio for doing nothing because Obama didn't do anything either. Nobody does nothing, and it's no one's fault.

It's like the story about Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando refusing to leave their respective trailers until the other guy came out. That's a lovely reason, Rick. I'm asking why we should promote Rubio to the highest office in the country and you're telling me that he's only been a lovely, lazy worker who doesn't show up or do anything useful because everyone has been. Well, then why shouldn't we fire all of you?

Feeling better today, although my 2016 GOP primary innocence is lost.

The fight is on, and it's a fight we the people have yet to win.

But I'm going keep my head up and at worst go down swinging.

I wish SC was a caucus state so I could stick around the polling place for a few hours and preach some truth. Rubio has been annointed the establishments' boy, and they wouldn't do that unless he's going to play ball with the military-industrial complex, the global elites, the Wall-Street banks, the open-borders advocates, the Club for Growth/Chamber of Commerce, etc., etc., etc.

The wait until NH is killing me. We have to make a stand, Trump HAS to win by double digits, and all I can do is watch and wait and place the nation's fate in the hands of a bunch of drat yankees.

As the 2016 campaign heats up, an episode from his tenure as Florida governor reveals why Bush's image as a “uniter, not a divider,” as his older brother used to put it, may not stand up. The state's deeply flawed purge of felons from its voting rolls in advance of the 2000 presidential election remains a scar that still has not healed for many in the state.

“I’ll never the forget people that came up to me and said, ‘You let them steal our votes,’” Rep. Corrine Brown (D-Fla.), who became state's first African-American elected to Congress since Reconstruction when she won her seat in 1992, told The Huffington Post. “So many people were just wiped off the rolls -- people who’d been voting for years and years. You had the obligation to prove that you weren’t a felon.”

The felon purge wrongfully denied thousands of legitimate voters the ability to participate in a presidential election pitting Republican George W. Bush against Democrat Al Gore. Ultimately, a few hundred Florida ballots would determine the presidency, and with it, the nation’s path for the next eight years and, really, well beyond.

“Dr. Carson is going to get his campaign lean — really lean,” Williams said in an interview. “One issue for a while has been too much infrastructure and he has decided to fully address it so that he can sustain his campaign until the convention.”

Carson’s funds have diminished as he has fallen from the top tier, forcing him to make sweeping changes to a campaign that had swelled into a bustling operation of about 125 people.

Armstrong Williams' insiders take on the campaign shakeup. Dr Carson may have to consider flying commercial at some point in the near future.
