Iron Crowned posted:I think my biggest gripe was making a huge deal about the combat program, and then you don't see it come up ever again. I mean c'mon, you don't throw that nugget out there unless you're going to make it an element about how much of him is programming and how much is him. I think this was the deeper theme that the film was meant to explore then kinda glossed over.

I like the contrast of the spackled baby doll with the very competently painted model that's being used for the head.

I know I'm just continuing a derail here, but Aaron Dembski-Bowden is also worth a read. Similar style to Dan Abnett, manages to mix in some intellegent writing and humour with the standard quota of gung-ho bolterporn.

A guy is selling his custom CSM/Mechanicus army on Wargaming trading: Too bad about the fat coats, that guy on the right looks like a Volus friar Tuck Lol @ melta ogres. I don't know what those robo guys are made from. Gettin' goofy with the larger ones. Stelth suits and necrons, as well as necron heads and marine chests are a pretty wicked combo, as it turns out. Then again, NecronSM are just taller, skellington Priests of Sigmar.

JcDent posted:A guy is selling his custom CSM/Mechanicus army on Wargaming trading: Sorry, this is not the thread for posting awesome stuff Improbable Lobster posted:Some of those are decent but I'm not a fan of the stealth necrons at all The concept is great and I love the sarcophagus shape, kinda like an actually gothic mini-dreadnought. They could use much better execution though, like the central lines or some ornaments around the head-hole.

# ? Feb 5, 2016 14:57 |
Yeah, if the torso was had the seam greenstuff'd out and painted a bit more it'd own. I'm not sure you could really do anything about the head-hole being warped.

The Melta Ogre is mechanicus as poo poo. None of that is actively bad; the Volus Tuck is a little unskilled, but I think it's unfair to put it in this thread.

This army's actually pretty drat cool even if the painting is meh.

So the new Warzone models from Prodos are by and large really loving good. That is, until I saw they're putting this out. Slightly Every single model is in stupid space lingerie. Well, except the not-Great-Unclean-One, who just has gross saggy plague tits.
