windows 95 version of simcity 2000 and scurk already runs in 64 bit windows, though needs a simple patch for Windows 7 and later (due to a problem with how the file dialog box works). i can send you a link if u need it

Kickstarter Ideas:

CatVac. The vaccuum you can use on cats!

Steak Maiden. A shallow, spiked cast-iron iron pan with a spiked lid.

ExcerSkates. A pair of shoes with reversed rotating treads so that you need twice as many steps to get anywhere.

Empathizer Home Suffering Kit. A set with supplements designed to mimic the physical symptoms of diseases and conditions common to the developing world.

Ghost Poison. Like rat traps but for ghosts.

A two-factor door lock. Turn the key 90 degrees and your door sends a text message with an access code. Turn the key another 90 and then speak the access code to unlock the door.

i figured hey this product probably already exists right

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...7RCR90VMX4T5QDC

and it does, for cheaper, on amazon, right now, and also instead of powering one lovely led bulb it powers a lamp and also can charge a phone so it is actually potentially a useful device

This is true, but like so many failed kickstarters, it's also a product you can buy off the shelf in bulk at a very reasonable price:
