drat, super tempted to start logging this one guy I've got on Steam who sends me at least 20 messages a day with no prompting yelling about nascar, lights, getting insta-cored while his shots do nothing, their team running away, and on and on. I really wanna ask, "Are you only tier 2 via attrition?", so fear not bad goons you too can mindlessly grind your way to epeen and endless sorrow.

A time skip is pretty unavoidable. They're really going to run out of mech designs soon, and some new tech/weapons to shake things up would be nice Also, IS omnimechs.

Or the one I posted a few weeks ago that was a pair of LRM15s (I believe) and a pair of medium lasers. All the firepower of a midrange medium mech, with none of the pesky manuverability!

We ran about 5-6 matches. 2 Ghost drops, 3 vs IS and 1 vs Clan. All wins. Had a great yell boss, everyone listened, everyone had fun. Run CW with goons, look at pictures of lizards, talk about butt chugging beer and have a great time.

I witnessed a timberwolf losing to the 1 erLL,4 MG spider tonight. Timberwolf had some combo of med/large pulses with 2 LRM20s, chased after a spider for what should have been an easy kill. Spider managed to pop whereever the LRM ammo was cause timberwolf winded up with 2 medium pulses shortly. Alittle guy pretty much ran around the timber for about 30 seconds chipping him down.

can anyone recommend me some baby's first clan dropdeck? I have 2 stormcrows, 1 hellbringer, 2 cheetas, 1 kit fox to work with. On a related subject, what clan is GIRL currently with? Jade falcon still, or doing grand clan tour for bays??

Timberwolves have abysmal torso yaw speeds, their twist speed is about as fast as an Atlas so they're pretty vulnerable to lights if they're piloted by bads.

Accidental Stalker Lance, best lance:   Solo dropping for quick matches, ended up with 3 Misery/1 5M together. In addition to being cute, it was an interesting example of the fascinating group psychology of pub teams. All you need sometimes is one little nudge to get everyone to at least not wander off and die alone. In this case, our lance stuck together very well and formed a nucleus that the rest of the team seemed to rally around. It led to some nice drama, including the climax of the match where we ran head-on into the main clump of enemies and drove them back through a tunnel. They were nice enough to stage a fighting retreat instead of just running away which really gave the whole thing the proper action-movie tone. Good stuff.

The mumble isn't OpSec at all, the server owner just asked that the login not be straight up openly public so random pubs can't be annoying and login and eat bandwidth, because that's a hassle for him. If this were a PGS thread Im sure it wouldn't be an issue. If you would prefer WoL who are primarily IS or GIRL who are primarily Clan, please state a preference but really it doesn't matter and we all use the same mumble and drop together all the time. It's more a whimsical "if we really did Clan Wars and if that was really a thing" issue (It isn't.). I swapped out my crab's XL for a standard and my survivability seems about the same tbh. I think it's because the side profile of the center torso is so large and I keep trying to torso twist to spread out damage which instead just focuses all the damage in my large crab nose.
