Calling it "filler" just leaves misunderstandings. This is the second draft.

I love every drop of it, especially as someone who is spoiled ahead on the webcomic version. This is basically like getting to see a favorite movie for the first time, again.

Finally we get to see the awesomeness that is watchdog man in action! How do you all think it'll go? I'm picturing a situation where Garou starts smack talking only to be ignored, followed by a simple yet hilarious bite to the hand.

Watchdogman is such a mystery, it's hard to imagine a fight that delivers on expectation. But then again, ONE and Murata and goddamn masters.

I want the filler meme to end. Memes like "King is not actually strong" may carry on as long as you respect his true power. Josuke Higashikata fucked around with this message at 09:09 on Feb 7, 2016 |

It's from Good Smile Company's Figma line, which are the best bang for your buck posable figures you can get.

Eej posted:It's from Good Smile Company's Figma line, which are the best bang for your buck posable figures you can get. Ehhh, Bandai's S.H. Figuarts are sturdier in my experience and have just as much articulation, accessories, and generally just as good, if not better sculpts. I base this off of the Figuarts Samus and Link figures and the like...ten S.H. Figuarts I have. I think the Figuarts line also has way more variety in general. With that said, Figma is still really loving great and astronomically better than any of the major American figure companies like Funko, Hasbro, Mattel, Jakks, etc. Obviously, something like Hot Toys/Sideshow is even better, but they only seem to do American/Western properties, and only in the 12" scale. I'm definitely going to pick up that Saitama. He can hang out with Goku and my Nendoroid Saitama.

The artist really likes doing rape stuff, because also has an AoT comic which the same thing happens as the sequels of One Hurricane and they're really boring.

Supposedly changed writers. Didn't really look into it, the first one made me laugh in legitimate way, the second one ugh.

hmm, I hope this tournament doesn't drag out too long because all of these martial artists are extremely boring except sneck I think. I'll be happy to be proven wrong in the next few chapters, but it'd be nice to get on with the story.

It's pretty hard to say they're boring without seeing them fight, appearance doesn't mean much either way in terms of enjoyment and entertainment. It seems like the tournament and Garou vs Watchdog-man will have to happen before they can get back to the webcomic's parts. We're a while off yet. Maybe by the end of the year, we might be finally into the meat of the arc.

I like how most of the time honored fightmans tropes are represented, including musclebound fearsome-in-appearance-but-gentle giant, the "fight is all" ultraviolent warrior, dude just looking to have fun, Chun-Li, etc.

I figure that all of this was just a way of explaining where Saitama was during the wide-spread monster attack that explained why some of the s-class heroes weren't present during the garou arc.
|
# ? Feb 8, 2016 21:38 |
|
That is the reason why this is happening, though maybe it's best to speak more figuratively or in spoiler tags in the Murata thread about things we know to be true based on ONE's Webcomic?
|
# ? Feb 8, 2016 21:43 |
|
^^ From what I understand, the whole thing with Metal Bat and Garou is original to this version and we're back to the original webcomic stuff. Fuckin' Genos clapping for Saitama when everyone's booing.

# ? Feb 8, 2016 21:45 |

Anything related to Garou fighting Metal Bat, Watchdog-Man or the fighting tournament is exclusive to the Murata version. I'm not quite sure when exactly we left the script, but it's probably a year now since Murata drew anything that's in ONE's comic too. I just meant saying things like "this is why Saitama [thing]" or "[Persons] are missing from [thing] and this explains why" is kind of on the precipice of spoilers when the statements rely on knowledge of future events for context. They're not explicit spoilers but they can shape expectation, in my opinion. Josuke Higashikata fucked around with this message at 21:52 on Feb 8, 2016 |

Yeah let's not spoil anything. I want to see what murata wants to show, but I'm very excited to see his rendition of the actual story as well because I've re-read the next part several times. I think I watched dbz and yuyu hakusho too many times and now martial arts tournaments scream boring filler to me. I'm sure it will be good tho.
