Johnny Depp: I have a somewhat goofy but small mustache now. Literally everyone else in the cast: Holy poo poo that thing is literally worse than the Holocaust. Audience: Ha... ha?

LORD OF BUTT posted:Okay, I'd heard that Mystery Incorporated was kind of batshit when it was running. It's amazing. It's got an actual arc, all the characters have really interesting personalities that interact in cool ways - Fred's love of traps causes trouble with his relationship with Daphne, Velma breaks up with Shaggy because he spends too much time with Scooby and starts hanging out with a genius lesbian, etc - and the plot keeps getting trippier and trippier.

If the Flop House and WHM didn't both do an ep, I would have assumed one of them had made it up. And yeah the last episode was 36 Chambers of Shaolin (which is great) meets Stripes. But bad?

Said lesbian was voiced by Linda Cardellini, who played Velma in the live-action movie. And her character was named Hot Dog Water. And at one point the team gets shaken up so she gets put in the intro instead. I can't even be mad about its cancellation because season 2 ends with them getting ready to do a road trip across the country to join Harlan Ellison at Miskatonic University, so it ends with the setup for the original cartoon where they're driving around solving mysteries. It rules.

I'm thinking of calling in Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star, especially after hearing how much they hate Nick Swardson. I'm also a sucker for movies that flop and then the people in charge make a million excuses, not realizing that no one wants to see a Happy Madison movie where Nick Swardson is a fat pornstar.

Nick Swardson is the perfect example of a guy who actively repels audiences.

I'm always a week or two behind so I'm still on President Chili Cheese Pup. The talk about no big alien reveal and sex with Q*bert made me think of a better movie that did both right, Galaxy Quest. Tony Shalhoub's character was banging a tentacle creature and it was awesome. Bucky Larson would be even more infamous if Jack and Jill didn't catch so much hate. That was a real banner year for Happy Madison.

One of my favorite gags is that Daphne has five identical sisters and they're all seem to take their career guidance from Barbie: one's a doctor, one's a race car driver, one's a model, another is an astronaut and yet another is a Marine Corps officer.

They have been hitting it out of the park lately, I think. The GW Bush and Reagan impressions they seem to work into every episode are awesome.

Is this the first mention of Fairfield County in podcasts? I lived there! Why do they keep mentioning Sin City without pointing out how much Frank Miller did on Daredevil? We gotta spam that 'get over here mom!' voice clip in the comic book movie threads. Count Chocula fucked around with this message at 22:32 on Feb 9, 2016 |

Gargoyles would be great on Animation Damnation if there was a wacky Xanatos episode, plenty of TNG Riker derails for the taking.

Was the voice over work for that show recorded in the same studio they filmed TNG? So many voices were in both. At some point or another it had Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn, Brent Spiner, and Colm Meaney. For fun, you can add in Nichelle Nichols, Kate Mulgrew, Avery Brooks, and David Warner for more Star Trek goodness.
