Apparently the FBI also snuck people into the refuge buildings on Tuesday. http://www.oregonlive.com/oregon-standoff/2016/02/oregon_standoff_fbi_moves_in_o.html quote:FBI tactical teams had quietly moved into the refuge compound Tuesday night, entering the buildings undetected by the occupiers. They apparently were in the buildings through the day Wednesday before agents moved against the encampment.

Cliven has been making a show of travelling with armed bodyguards wherever he goes, but the TSA'll let you fly with legally owned guns...as long as you check them in your luggage. So Portland cops and FBI just snagged them as they were coming unarmed, as one big group of bozos, off the plane at the gate.

After the main leadership got arrested and LaVoy Finicum killed, almost everyone packed up and bailed except for a handful of holdouts. They abandoned the buildings and divided themselves into a few small groups to try and fortify the perimeter (they were live streaming building berms with a little front-end loader), but eventually all but one group of 4 people left. I think their reason for staying outdoors was twofold: they wanted to have a better vantage point in case of an oncoming ambush instead of trying to sleep indoors, and they wanted to keep insisting to the media that they were "just camping" and thus shouldn't be arrested for occupying the site. So the buildings were just left totally abandoned. Anyone who wasn't a marching band could have snuck inside.

The last of the Malheur occupiers have been arrested. David Fry (AKA Kylo Meth) tried to hold out for a few hours in a sort of deranged suicide attempt while screaming about every conspiracy theory under the sun and the two sovereign citizens trying to negotiate with him nearly drove him to kill himself with how badly they were negotiating, but a proper FBI negotiator (Mark, the same one from last night) took 15 or 20 minutes to get him to calm down and surrender without a shot fired.
