some new chapters of stuff came out last night new Monster Musume, in which it's a date with Zombina(???) new Prison School in which the author tests the limits of japanese censorship and a new Erased in which Satoru continues to recover, with a few new reveals In regards to Erased, if there never actually was any supernatural aspect to it and it was all just his imagination during his coma that'd be an interesting twist, at least, even if I wouldn't be exactly happy about it

If I had to guess, I'd say Kenya. Which would really suck because Kenya is a cool guy and great friend. If not Kenya, other possibilities are Satoru's mom (again) or (god forbid) Kumi, that cancer girl he befriended at the hospital.

I'm happy that the whole Kurome/Akame situation in Akame ga Kill resolved well. While the result wasn't exactly unpredictable, it wasn't the *most* predictable option (which would have been something like them killing each other, though that did become significantly less likely after their previous skirmish revealed that current Akame was stronger than Kurome). I'm guessing that in the final battle Leone will end up fighting that Rakshasa demon lady, since it's the only enemy she really has a chance of defeating. Which leaves Tatsumi/Akame/Najenda to fight Esdeath and whatever the other trump card is (which is probably some teigu the emperor will use). Until we know what the teigu is it's hard to figure out how they'll be distributed. I'm guessing that it'll be Tatsumi + Najenda against Esdeath (since they're both connected to her) and Akame against whatever the emperor does I assume that the only way they'll be able to deal with the ice soldiers is through dealing with Esdeath herself, since no one left has the ability to easily defeat that many units at once. I'm hoping that that rebel army also has something up their sleeve; we know they're in possession of a large number of teigu (possibly more than the empire at this point), and we've never met the rebel leader (who has only been indirectly referenced). As dumb as it is, this series has been pretty consistently entertaining and has managed to avoid being too predictable.

Pretty sure that in Erased Gaku is going to attempt to kill Kumi. I wouldn't be that surprised if a similar situation occurs where Kumi is killed and Satoru is taken back in time to prevent her death (like with all the other people close to him who have been killed). I really don't like situations in thrillers when you know that something bad is going to happen. Even if things end up okay in the end, at this point we're basically just waiting for Gaku to do something awful at this camp. Not that there's anything wrong with such a plot element, I just find reading them to be personally uncomfortable. The one advantage Satoru does have, even if he can't remember Gaku is the criminal, is that Gaku is only willing to commit "perfect" crimes. So it's not like he can just freely kill anyone; the right conditions have to be met, like the person being alone. If Satoru did manage to remember who he is, Gaku would basically be hosed since all you have to do to prevent his murders is keep an eye on him or the potential victim.

Oh absolutely, his translations are top notch, but I recall he also said something along the lines of "I'll finish it by this october" a few octobers ago. Not holding it against the guy, he had life issues come up, but I do want to see this series through to the end, and it's so agonizingly close.
