TBF, a month or two ago U/W Eldrazi would have seemed new and interesting.

Being fairly non autistic I manage fine.

I also find myself able to avoid looking at dogs butts when they poop.

Mono-black
Black/White
Red/Green
Blue/Red

any I'm missing?

Grey Hunter's next target.

Sacred ground out of the board is hilarious and crushes living end in GW Tron. Also pyroclasm is really bad right now so it's not really giving up much other than grove being the perfect dual land for tron.

Fajita Queen

Really they should just make a Grove cycle of all ten color pairs so we can have more varieties of Tron.

They should finish what they started with Graven Carins and make cycles in all colors for all five.

Formats will just have to adjust to the WU Canopy.

The WU canopy would be the worst one since control decks actually want to have lots of lands in play, and care the most about the damage. It's the ones that go into aggro decks that the format would have to adjust to.

WU and UB Groves would be the big problem.

Also RG Canopy would probably give Maro a stroke.

I'd like to see the rest of River of Tears and Nimbus Maze though.

Someone would immediately call him on that but still.

Every colour gets access to cantrips though, so okay (and land-based draw is pretty green and sac resources for draw is pretty red?)

After a standard of no basics, it'd be nice to have a Nimbus Maze cycle to require basics.

It'd have to be the block after the block after SoI though so the bofas aren't there.

You're a turn behind on mana with bofas but no basics.

You're mono-♦ with Nimbus maze but no basics.

Irony Be My Shield
Jul 29, 2012

In reality everyone runs basics with bofas because guildgates are not very good. On the other hand you could just use bofas to enable your Nimbus Maze if you really wanted to.

A River of Tears cycle would be great, tbh. In optimal conditions they can be as good as fetchless duals but can present interesting sequencing problems and are obviously worse when you stop hitting land drops.

Nimbus Maze cycle would be good in standard with BFZ block because of the colorless mana production and the land types mattering but I doubt they'll do that in SoI.
