They wasted Luanne on Lucky!

She could of have been so much more but the writers just didn't care!
Evan Mathis dumped all over Chip Kelly and confirmed everything we thought was true.

quote:

“There were many things that Chip had done that showed me he wasn’t building a championship team,” Mathis wrote. “Two of the main issues that concerned me were: 1. A never-evolving, vanilla offense that forced our own defense to play higher than normal play counts. 2. His impatience with certain personality types even when they were blue-chip talents. The Broncos team I was on would have eaten Chip alive. I don’t think he could have handled the plethora of large personalities.”

No, I'm saying that any player who blatantly tried to decapitate one of the league's premier players within the last 60 seconds of a nationally televised playoff game, especially within 10 yards and directly in the line of sight of the back judge, is gonna get an unsportsmanlike penalty.

But lol, let's speculate about who would get away with knocking someone out in that specific scenario, it's the off season

He was a clutch safety valve for a lot of years, but if he had gone to a pro-bowl, it would have been because a lot of dudes got hurt. He had the numbers a few seasons, '07 and '12 specifically, but he wasn't flashy. He just didn't give up on plays and always found a way to ~eventually~ get open.
