OldMemes posted:"Use cannabis instead of antibotics"? I'm not sure the writer knows that antibotics are. As someone who grew up in Sonoma County, CA, one of the more hippy out there counties in the US, I can tell you there are plenty of people who actually operate like this. I remember quite a few people trying to cure their bronchitis by smoking weed.

So I was at work one night, and we were just closing up. We had spent the night looking up coworkers names, seeing what dirt we could find on them. We had found a coworker's Amazon page which was only 1 star reviews, so that was funny enough. After we closed, a regular customer came by, big middle aged fat guy famous for asking questions to employees constantly without actually listening to the answers and being generally annoying. After he insists many times that he'll be quick, he buys his stuff and leaves. One of my coworkers sees his name on his credit card, and asks "Hey! I wonder if we can find any stuff about this guy online." We were not prepared for what we found. He was listed as a public figure for some reason. (I did not censor Weintraub because that is not even close to his name}

StrangersInTheNight posted:I must see the rest of the conversation WHY DOES IT CUT OFF THERE I found it on reddit. The only other context the poster gave was that this woman lives in Florida. Which makes this even worse, because Floridians are going to obviously have an easier time getting to Disney World than most other Americans by virtue of proximity. She could probably get an annual pass and take her grandson to Disney several times a year.

You also get a chunky discount for being a Florida resident too for most theme parks.

Someone in Minnesota allowed a guy, back in June, to get a personalized license plate that said "FMUSLMS". When the Governor found he got angry and took action to get it revoked. This, of course, cannot stand.

Its only line 8 bucks cheaper for a one day, but the discount gets better quick, and it comes with all the addons that cost 50+ each for non-residents(like being able to go to more than one park). If I was one of those Disney fanatic people, I would have to move there just for that.

Responded to a image a friend posted about GMOs. He's a pretty reasonable dude, but one of his friends immediately started making GBS threads down my throat and accusing me of supporting MONSANTO. I know it's probably hopeless, but is there a good set of articles about GMOs to use against these people?

I can confirm. I don't know how truly common it is but my son has a terminal illness and went on a make a wish trip to Disney World and we got yelled at one of the days. The people working were really apologetic and it wasn't terrible but I can say that 1/1 days I went it happened.
