That X-Men set can have whatever BAF part they want, all I want is Rogue for the Onslaught head, and Deadpool. Really kind of scaling my collecting back. A lot of the new stuff doesn't interest me as much anymore. If only I could find Spider-Gwen

The figure looks amazing, but I'm kinda worried if that lightning bolt is going to wear off the gold on the chest. Oh cool, they have the Batman V Superman figures too. Batman looks better than the sideshow version, but drat, the angry heat vision Superman looks more like hyper infected pinkeye Superman.  This is one of the best toys I've ever bought. The Nendoroid style perfectly compliments Kirby's little body, and it's so fun and easy to swap out his little magnetic parts. He's just satisfying to pose, to play with, to look at...he's $42 for preorder on BBTS.

Huh, Diamond has re-listed the Spider-man ML series but the new listing also has a "Back-Ordered, Not Stocked" warning on it. So I emailed my rep as I never saw it as available and he tells me they got allocated as gently caress. He doesn't know the exact number but they got less than 1/3 of the stock they ordered. So they're still fighting with Hasbro over this but there is a chance orders will eventually be filled so I might still be able to track down those damned figures. Did anyone see that wave at their local comic shop?

Seen the whole wave at a couple of Wal Marts but I don't really go to dedicated comic stores. The ones around here just buy from TRU, Walmart & Target and mark the price up $7-10 anyway.

For what it's worth, I look often every where I go and have yet to see it show up in the East Valley. Target/Walmart seem to lag by at least a month or two compared to online retailers. TRU is the only store that seems to get new waves on the shelves in a relatively quick manner. I did see Red Skrull Onslaught wave at a Walmart though.

Apparently the Disney Stores around here aren't getting the great new Marvel Select Spider-Man or Captain America for a while, so I bit the bullet and preordered them tonight from the Disney Store website, with 25% off for Leap Day and free shipping. I'm psyched, but also nervous about the paint jobs. I would have loved to go through pegs and pick out the best ones for me and my friend, but I also didn't feel like waiting. Does anyone have these yet? They look like the best Spider-Man figure ever, and one of the best Caps that combines costume details from all eras and media.

Bizarrely I've seen the Onslaught ML wave in two non-specialist places in the UK, TRU and Asda. Usually we're way behind on releases. In that Asda I also picked up a lone Black Series Phasma. So that was nice.

The paint apps on the Spidey kinda run the gamut, but at the worst they're sloppy but passable, mainly around the torso and insignia on the back. What's really holding it back is the ab-crunch, but the same mod made to Venom can be applied to Petey.
