On the topic of Vassal: I'm no expert but I have no problem showing people how to use it if we end up starting some kind of regular X-Wing thing. I have taught a couple of friends online using Mumble and stuff like that. I have a weird schedule, but I'm just putting that out there.

A Dorsal Turret, when it comes out, will cost 3 points cheaper than a TLT, which is enough to give every Rookie Pilot an R2 if you want. On the one hand TLT is the king of turrets no question, on the other hand Dorsal doesn't have a donut hole (though it does only work out to range 2).

I don't think I'd want PtL without Kyle on Fat Dash. Getting the free focus token off a green maneuver and then following that up with PtL to barrel roll + boost, and then lather-rinse-repeat as needed. The predictability of the green maneuvers is made up for with the movement actions and I've been able to get Dash out of some pretty sticky situations with that.

Yes, as long as the spoiler is accurate. FFGs wording when they want to exclude the ship with the ability is "another friendly ship."

I'm in 3 minds - Wild Karrde, but it's poo poo-ugly and looks like a dustbuster and I don't think was particularly associated with any small ships and I'd hope it would ship with one, Jabba's yacht but it's really not that well known, but would go well with the scyk as the second ship in the pack, or Pre Vizsla's giant 20 man troop transport/personal fighter thing, which would fit well with a potential mandalorian mercs from Rebels wave and looks bitching.

I also hope on a more general note that they have made a policy decision to not release a set where any of the uniques have an EPT without a generic with an EPT - it always seems like a waste of design and build space to release a PS1 and 3 or 2 and 4 generics neither with EPT slots. I want to be able to do K-Crack swarms or Juke Stygium Phantoms etc etc

There's also the Crusader-Class corvette used by the Zann Consortium in Empire At War, the direct analogue to the Blockade Runner in that game.

Hmmm. PS10 boba is really, really wanting proton bombs (I think it's the highest PS bomber in the game, along with VI RAC). That has the potential to really mess up some regen ace's day. I only have one glitterstim, so putting inertial on the ig puts me at 98. Are Seismic worth it?

I've been mucking about with Guri too much lately, so I'm going to give a higher PS a whirl. At this point I'm paying a lot for PS 9, but hey. I'm confident enough with the maneuvers to try it. I might dump tactician and maayybee (though I know there'll be a couple of Tlt-heavy lists) sensor jammer, and give some anti-pursuit lasers to the slaver and scatter some inertial dampeners around.

In any case; I'm flying my favorite ships in a tourney, and as it's organised among friends, I'll be hammered by the fourth match anyway.

Previous edition swapped R5-P9 down to an R2 Astromech and used Proton Torpedoes with Guidance Chips. Lack of initiative bid hurt a lot against Phantoms (which are loving everywhere here) even if the torpedo was hilarious for alpha striking things into existence.
