I think it's pretty hilarious that idiots think that playing up Trump's German heritage is somehow bad for him when they are the single largest national group in the electorate. This is on a par with saying Obama has an African sounding name, except way more stupid.

The Donald and Christie tread down the dirt road. Suddenly Donald spies a flash of red in the corner of his eye. It proves to be a trampled Jeb! yard sign. He picks it up. "This used to mean something to someone, Chris," he mutters. "A flash of...I don't know. A flash of love. Caring, I guess? They cared. America. They really-- you know, they should be for me. I don't know what they are, but they should be for me. I-- and I really, really hope for this, I want this so much, they are for me. Huh." He tosses the sign aside, where it lands in a mud puddle in the road. Horse hooves drive it into the road....

Imagine how great it would be if Trump's supporters somehow got confused and thought they needed to write "Drumpf" in caucus states, and he had to peevishly explain in all rallies that was wrong.

Jewel Repetition posted:They had to be holding signs or something. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2016/02/29/donald-trump-georgia-rally-valdosta/81129964/ VALDOSTA, Ga. — About 30 black students who were standing silently at the top of the bleachers at Donald Trump’s rally here Monday night were escorted out by Secret Service agents who said the presidential candidate had requested their removal before he began speaking. The sight of the students, who were visibly upset, being led outside by law enforcement officials created a stir at a university that was a whites-only campus until 1963. “We didn’t plan to do anything,” said a tearful Tahjila Davis, a 19-year-old mass media major, who was among the Valdosta State University students who was removed. “They said, 'This is Trump’s property; it’s a private event.' But I paid my tuition to be here.” Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks in an email late Monday night denied that the students were shown the door "at the request of the candidate." "There is no truth to this whatsoever," Hicks said. Trump has been regularly heckled by protesters at his campaign rallies, but tensions have increased after he came under fire on Sunday for not immediately condemning support from a prominent white supremacist. Earlier Monday, some black students at another Trump campaign rally, on the campus of Radford University in Virginia, were led out by Secret Service after they began chanting: “No more hate! No more hate! Let's be equal, let's be great!" The two campus rallies took place just one day before high-stakes Super Tuesday, when 11 states hold GOP contests, including a collection of southern states. Trump is poised to lock down enough delegates to give him a sizable – and possibly insurmountable – lead over his GOP rivals. During his remarks in Valdosta, Trump said he’s leading a movement. “I’m just a messenger,” he said. Later, Trump said his whole life has been about making money, but "now I’m going to be greedy for the United States,” as the audience roared. “I’m going to take, take, take and we’re going to become rich again.” Karen Clendenin, 58, a victims advocate in the local district attorney’s office, said she was very impressed and that she’ll vote for Trump on Tuesday in Georgia's primary. Clendenin said she wore her “Trump” T-shirt Monday even though she was “a little embarrassed.” “So many people at work say, ‘Oh, no, we can’t have him. He’s not sensitive enough,’” she said. “But with the condition our country is in today, we’ve got to have somebody who’s not afraid.” The students who were asked to leave quietly followed Secret Service agents outside, but then argued with Valdosta police officers who politely, but firmly, told them they needed to leave the grounds of the Trump event, held at the school’s PE complex. Davis rested her forehead on the shoulder of her friend Leah Sheppard, a 20-year-old criminal justice major, and cried. “I don’t understand why they would do something like that,” Davis said. “I have not experienced any racism on this campus until now.” After a barrage of criticism for failing to denounce support from former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke during a CNN interview broadcast Sunday, Trump Monday morning said the problem was that he had difficulty hearing Tapper’s question because of the “very bad earpiece” CNN had given him. “I think he’s ignorant,” said Clinesha Sims, an 18-year-old biology major who wasn’t among the students escorted out by security. Sims said she intended to stay seated throughout Trump’s speech. “Sometimes silence says more than words,” she said.

Ah, the riveting question of whether Trump will get closer to 200,000 or 1,000,000 votes from Black voters. For what it's worth I think he'll exceed expectations. Edit: This massive media racism push is some quality ratfucking though. I wonder if it will stick with anyone who wasn't already convinced by Huffpo's even-handed reporting already? Well, since expectations are basically 0 he'd pretty much have to exceed expectations through random chance. Someone out there is going to bubble in the sheet wrong. Trump's path to victory is winning enough of the disillusioned white vote. If Trump can increase his share of the white vote to 65% it basically swamps the minority vote, and if he can somehow achieve 70% of the white vote it really doesn't matter what minorities think about anything.

The Donald and Christie lead their mounts down the road at an easy walk. "You know," Donald says, "what is the real meaning of life, Christie?" "Gosh Don, I don't know," Christie says. They ride on in silence for a time. Then Donald says, "Is it money? Power? Fame? Maybe....I dunno, women?" Christie cocks his head to the side. " I think, maybe it's love, Don." The Donald raises an eyebrow. "Love? You really think so?" He assumes a contemplative look. "A love of money? Women? Power?" Christie shifts in his seat. "Nah, Donald. Just love. By itself. Love is worth it all." They ride along in silence, the only sound the soft tread of Narrative on the dry road. Trump breaks the silence. "I will tell you, I've been thinking of good ways to kill Marco." "Yeah?" "Yeah. I'm thinking I'll have my guards press his face into my poo poo bucket until he suffocates." Christie chuckles. "So he can die eating your poo poo. gently caress, I like it." Trump smiles. "Right, really? So good. And I'm thinking, I'll just leave him there, like that." Yeah, for the crows. Max ownage." They march on in silence.
