So we've had some misadventures with our ISP of late, the last 2 weeks have had constant upstream bandwidth problems that have cut our streams short or kept us from trying at all. Today-- 3 days after we upgraded our cable package and 2 days after I arranged to switch ISPs which will happen tomorrow-- Mediacom finally came through. Too little, too late, guys, but it should be a good preview of how things will work going forward. So, to test out our new plan, we'll be streaming at Twitch's cap (3500kbps) and playing Dark Souls 2 in proper 60fps. I'd call it a "speedrun" but 1) I'm still feeling a bit slugging with my sinuses and 2) I'm not good enough at the game anyway  , so call it a "quickplay" or something, getting as far as we can as fast as we can, and I'll take requests for builds and stuff.Anyway, come on by and let us know how it works, at http://twitch.tv/broopgamers! Edit: It works!  ...well, the Internet does. I didn't do so hot at the game.  We'll be doing our proper Thursday stream tomorrow night, probably Resident Evil 0 with possibly some Darkest Dungeon, hope you can make it!

Well, the misadventures in bandwidth continues, trying out The Other Guys (a DSL provider instead of cable basically), who promised 5 megabits up, is giving us 4, and drops to 2 if we try to do two things at once. Ugh. But regardless, we're trying them out with a stream, doing Resident Evil 0 in 60 fps! Come on by and check it out! Edit: Done! Well, the bandwidth held up. Next week we have to cancel one of the two ISPs, hopefully by then they'll be consistent enough to make that decision easy.

It's time for another BadWiid double bill of awful Wii games! Except this week we're playing good games! Tonight the three of us will be playing... Game Number 110: MadWorld  Notorious for being one of the few 18+ games on the Wii and for having a monochrome colour scheme. H3D is worried this game is going to make him sick but I'm sure it'll be fine. Hopefully the bitrate won't make this a blurry mess of pixels. Game 111!: Ghost Squad  A Wii port of one of the last great arcade lightgun games. This comes with a party mode which I'm intrigued to play. This should be a fun night!
