Unidentified pranksters (allegedly) put a padlock in a guy's earlobe stretcher. I'm not sure how they did it without him being fully aware of it, though. Maybe it's a dumb fuckup that he blames on persons unknown.

The chain in those padlocks is high-tensile steel. It'd take you ten minutes to hack through it with this. Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ear in five minutes. Go.

Being able to rage-quit as a pro is a really stupid rule, and it's wonderful to see it backfire so hilariously.

I think it's supposed to work like chess, where when you know you're beaten you can (and probably should) concede the match to avoid wasting everyone's time. Of course, you can't bluff in chess.

Reminds me of a current affairs show in Australia years ago that was doing a report on some anti-theft steering wheel locks which were apparently pretty easy to break if you just wrenched on them real hard. The manufacturer agreed to appear on the show and completely denied that they were faulty in any way so the reporter asked if he'd be okay standing by while they gave it a shot. Sure, no problem, yank on it all you want but it'll never break. About 10 seconds later the reporter broke the lock in half, right in front of the guy.

DavidAlltheTime posted:"Now I'll show you on this BIGGER lock made of the same garbage material as the first two. Also I screwed poo poo into a tree for no reason." Agreed- show me the wrench thing on a proper Master padlock and I'll be impressed. Of course they're easy to pick, almost all locks are. (to lockpickers- I don't find it easy, even with the right tools) Plus you gotta compare a lock which can famously get shot through and stay in one piece vs the garbage potmetal in that video. Those locks in the video are seriously some of the shittiest locks I've ever seen- I bet you could bust one apart with a hammer in one hit. At least Master locks are (somewhat) durable.
