lol that we used to think the game was a little laggy because of the atmospherics being calculated for every tile. there's way too much garbage in the goon builds

we got fed up with a badmin on goonstation a while back and played on some random server with a functioning atmos system that wasnt laggy and terrible

cgs: so i decided that it would be best to try and release my cruise missiles on knowable targets in one large strike, while 4 more are kept in waiting. the gray lines you see going from the caspian to the targets are the plotted courses for the missiles. i've allocated about 2 missiles per target with the aircraft, a recon Su-24MR will be up in the air in roughly 15 minutes, and the average flight time for the cruise missiles will be about one hour, so there should be something in the air to survey the damage (and also get a view on that enemy airfield). it will be flying along that light blue line shown i am slightly worried about my anti-air options, though. i really only have one Su-30SM who's ready to go and tangle with air targets. all the rest of the aircraft i have on hand are for taking out ground targets

missiles coming in fast. each one is going 530kts cruise speed and maintaining a 60 ft AGL altitude kablammo. the main targets around raqqah are getting destroyed. most only require one missile to hit before they're destroyed. the white corona around the bunker to the left is an effect from the missile hitting it. the size of the corona is the blast radius. this is better shown in the game's nuclear explosions all but two bunkers destroyed, and the airfield is left untouched. i've now got to send in aircraft for the final sweep. i've got 4 more cruise missiles headed to those two bunkers e: sweep finished. destroyed targets hell yeah putin's proud Space-Pope fucked around with this message at 07:55 on Mar 6, 2016 |

Panty Saluter posted:stardew valley looks kinda neat but way too micromanagey and slow paced I played through snes harvest moon once in 1998 and really enjoyed it, and haven't been able to get into any similar games since because they were too complicated. this feels just like harvest moon again but expanded with more content. if that appeals, you might like it it is kinda slow paced but that's the point I think?

it's often better to just say "thanks for the input guys" and move onto the next thing you were planning on doing + take care of your existing fans by maybe updating the thing with fixes once or twice

Up to the Elves posted:So I've just picked up a hefty sum of money thanks to an untimely passing of a close family member. (No need for goondolences, they've been bullying me my whole life and part of the reason for my severe anxiety and depression) I'm looking to support a kick-rear end game but am not too familiar with the gaming industry and what seems trustworthy out there. Hoping to get some recommendations. I like 8-bit rpg type games, and cute indy games similar to undertale and other steam bestsellers. Something small scale with a lot of face and community outreach.
