I am legitimately allergic to something in red wine (my brother is too) where if I have more than a few sips I can guarantee a headache for the next 12 hours. I'll never be a wine mom Red wine always makes me throw up. I can have maybe one small glass, but anymore than that and I'm puking in the bathroom within minutes. White wine and all other liquor I'm fine with though. It's really weird.

My boyfriend gets nauseous and headachy if he drinks black tea that's steeped for too long, for the same reason. I'm generally okay with red wine (provided I don't overdo it), but anything sugary, like white wine, mixed drinks, etc, has me feeling like rear end the next day. It's extra annoying in the summer, when a super cold glass of white wine or a gin and tonic seems like the most refreshing thing in the world. I can't even drink a soda at the movies without getting serious rotgut. It's honestly probably for the best, but still, annoying.

Like not even from a setting absurd standards for women perspective because its obviously mysoginistic, just, what is your frame of reference for human beings I think that person wants curvy to literally mean "possessing curves" rather than as a euphemism for weight or size. Like, there are indeed people who'd call her fat, and in fact I've seen that happen here in PYF before the pretty girl threads were closed and declared verboten; I just don't think that post is saying that.

The only way it could have been better is if they had painted the legs/frame black.

A lot of effort went into that and it paid off. That table looks awesome. I agree about darker legs, though.

If anyone who has that experience with wine cares enough you could try a sulfate-free variety and see if that helps

RareAcumen posted:What's the proper etiquette for when you're homeless anyway? Since, supposedly, just asking for money straight up is wrong. Imgur had a hugely popular post a year ago (I posted about it in the STDH.txt thread) but unfortunately it has since been taken down. (http://imgur.com/gallery/fiSFF) It was a dude saying that he spent some time homeless and he had some hard truths to tell, such as: - Homeless people eat like kings - Literally every homeless person earns 100-200$ per day and spend it all on heroin, cigarettes, alcohol or pot.. except for the dude posting this. He's an accomplished musician and used his money to buy bus tickets to his family. - No homeless person has been victim to domestic violence, they're lying for that sweet $$$. If they were really abused, wouldn't the police have been involved????? - Less than a third of "vets" are liars, tricking old people into giving them fat stacks of cash - Clothes grow on trees, mobile phones and phone bills are free - Most "homeless" people actually choose to do it because it pays so loving well
