all hillary needs to say is "yo college and health care are really expensive, i know, we're trying to make it cheaper but in the mean time government should help you pay for it" that's all loving say it, jesus. like, it means nothing, it's not a plan or anything, just loving indicate that you understand that people are going through some poo poo and some ~tax breaks~ aren't gonna be enough she reminds me of CNN and the other media outlets that are so afraid of being called LIBERAL that they fall all over themselves to occupy the center-right position on everything.

Alfred P. Pseudonym posted:realtalk what is the research on fracking? is it inherently dangerous (aside from carbon emissions) or can it be regulated enough to be safe (aside from carbon emissions) It's a $10 billion dollar industry which is cleaner than coal. And that's a huge point: renewables still cannot feed our energy needs alone, so a domestic, readily available cleaner energy source is a great intermediate bridge. I agree with Clinton that we need more regulation of the industry, but Sanders' plan of abolishing the industry entirely will just lead to more CO2 emissions and higher domestic energy costs. Oh, and Sanders is anti-nuclear power, so good luck trying to transition to clean energy.
