I learned the other day what the difference between Lionel Richie and Billy Dee Williams is, and that the person who played Lando Calrissian is not the same person who sung "Hello."

In the Hearts of Stone dlc for Witcher 3 theres one character who sounds like she's calling Geralt "Puss Papers". If I had been playing with captions this would have been immediately cleared up but it took me an embarassingly long time to realize she was actually saying peepers. After figuring that out I still had to think about it to make the connection. puss peepers = cat eyes

I just heard "The World I Know" by Collective Soul and realized that the song is in fact called "The World I Know" and that is what he is singing in the song. I don't think I have heard the song for a long time but for some reason I thought he was singing: 'Cause it's the one armed man It's the one armed man And that it was part of the soundtrack for The Fugitive film. No joke... I must have come up with this when I was a kid and never really thought about it again until today. I really wish I had been right though, that would be pretty amusing.

Misheard Lyrics: "I not talking about the linen." Original Lyrics: "I'm not talking 'bout moving in" Some singers are just bad at enunciating, is my excuse.

To this day I cannot hear "just like the one winged dove" in that Stevie nicks song. You know, the one about a dove that is still singing despite of a life changing wing accident. Listen to it and try not to hear that.

I always thought the line was "You need to be there when your baby's old enough to be laid." I thought, wow, that's a profound thought! How would I feel when my daughter becomes sexually active? Then I read the lyrics and never listened to Smash Mouth again.
