Motto is correct. Genjuro only fights actual people like Fine or intervenes with the symphogear users. He doesn't have the magic technological song barrier that prevents him from disintegration from the noise. Also everyone thought it was really weird when Hibiki managed to punch a noise before her suit was activated that one time in season 2.

I don't really like making bold statements of fact or talking from my rear end so I tend to avoid effort posting unless it's something I'm super knowledgeable about. Also most of you have been thinking and discussing these things at a deeper level far longer than me so I'd rather ask questions and learn.
