Signed up for the base (Acess Silm?) PlayStation VUE package. It's... pretty good? I like the cloud DVR, and the fact that the iOS app actually works (SlingTV's crashed all the drat time). On the other hand, it's only been two days and already I've had the realization that there's usually nothing I want to watch on, and last night something went wonky and I couldn't access the guide, which meant I couldn't change channels, which meant it was stuck on Toad Cruz' speech. I'm either going to cancel it after the free trial or convince my wife to switch to the slightly higher tier for $5 more per month so I can get IFC, we'll see if the guide issue happens again. [Edit: oh yeah, there are two more slight bugaboos: you can't pause the Cartoon Network/Adult Swim channel and if you're away from your home network some channels like SyFy won't stream... but if you log into the SyFy app with your PSVUE credentials you can watch the live stream there instead, which is kinda  ]

Honestly, I read what was written like 3 times and it seemed to me from the context that it was Cardboard that was annoyed at the daughter insisting she wasn't a lesbian. They're shooting Luke Cage starting tomorrow morning on my block in Brooklyn, and there are already a bunch of traffic cops directing cars around. The shoot sign says "Tiara," but they're going by the production name, probably so that fans don't crowd the set.

Just started watching The Americans last night and am just now finishing the 3rd episode. It's 2am but I kind of want to watch it again, because I can't figure out what the hell was going on with Keri Russell's face towards the end. Was that a shadow? Or does she have a weird moving red scar or line down her face? They made it obvious enough that I'm supposed to notice it but maybe I'm just to tired to get the significance.
