I have to say, the weirdest thing about being a feminist is to hear people vehemently opposed to feminism say "You mischaracterise men as predators! How dare you think of us as perverts! How dare you generalise us all! #notallmen!" And then to have other men tell you, "Yes, most men would be sex offenders if they could, you should already know that."

If not most men in general, definitely everyone who is an mra mgtow #notallmen dude is a probable sex pervert

okay cool so, just so we're clear, you're saying that the thing preventing most men from committing sex crime isn't "respect for women as human beings," but simply that the consequences are too great and if those consequences were eliminated, then it'd be a free for all with perving it up. I just want to know that that is how you are characterizing "most men." Can you see why that's more than a little scary as a woman? Or at least, just not endearing? Especially when it's kind of being celebrated by a guy on a podcast who probably thinks of himself as one of the "good" ones for calling out guys who actually do commit crimes? Or why it might be okay to characterise online communities where that sentiment is celebrated as "full of pervs"? Hey, other men, if you want to jump in here and make any claims about like, not having dormant criminal urges, don't let me stop you. I've been living with the assumption that most men are people with feelings and empathy who probably wouldn't take advantage of other people like that, but luckily I'm getting an education here today. peter banana fucked around with this message at 18:41 on Mar 19, 2016 |

I think most people in general would commit unspeakable acts if not for the threat of legal repercussion yeah. Women would probably sexually assault people at equal rates if they had magic invisibility powers.

I think you probably have an inflated opinion of humanity based on the biases you've established by your selected social group. Most humans are idiots with no morals. Most women would probably steal and murder indiscriminately if they thought there would be no action brought against them. Almost every American would. I'm not saying I think that's good or nice, it's terrible. But, yknow, that's how people are.

Homie, for your own sake, I'm going to let you in on some knowledge. Women and likely most men would probably express themselves sexually in a healthy way significantly more if they felt they were safe and respected and that they could give enthusiastic consent. If they weren't subject to "boner-rage" (sp?) so to speak. The biggest barrier to living in a culture where women get their gently caress on on a regular basis is the general attitude of men that women are objects to be taken advantage of against their consent and the tacit agreement of other men to normalize that idea.

The segments they have had on YouTube forever made me enjoy Seth's sobriety rants even more. I loved how he is so animated while Jah is laughing so hard he is curling up in a fetal position. Do they ever get wound up like that in a live show?

Well, I mean first you're going to have convince me that deep cloaking of homosexuality/bisexuality due to intense self loathing is "healthy sexuality" though. There's A LOT of sus psychological things going on with the guys at Craigshouse. Isn't that what we're all laughing at? Edit: and even THOSE guys know the importance of consent for their wicked dramatic scenarios peter banana fucked around with this message at 20:19 on Mar 19, 2016 |

You cannot ignore that the show would never have survived without the deep well of Jah's lot-kid upbringing to have kept going back to for the first few hundreds of eps. Seth's childhood stories are boring as gently caress. "I made a construction paper folder to hold my Dallas Cowboy's stickerbook but Peter Rappelini lost it on the bus", he's great but he lived the most rote existence ever until he got out of LA and went drug crazy. Jah and his retarded rants are like an adhesive that have held the show together, pungent and ugly as they may be.
