Counterpoint: it is a ridiculous dick move to just go "well I'm done with rowing now, we're clearly not going to win" then just sitting in the middle of the river. I'm sure you'd probably honk your horn if on the way to work someone just decided "nah, I'm done with driving for today" and abandoned his car in the middle of the road infront of you.

One more time, because we don't need a third sucker to drop in wondering "wuh- well why don't they just make it taller??": The case is that the bridge's height cannot be changed! 1. It is above a sewer or water main. 2. It is supporting train tracks. 3. You cannot scootch either infrastructure even an inch without loving them up. 4. To completely redesign and reconstruct the infrastructure would mean immense, obviously unfeasible expense, particularly since it would be almost entirely for the benefit of fools who operate vehicles without proper awareness of the vehicle's size, and what's more, the time it would take to shut down the entire drat area and break everything apart would equal probably over several year's worth of crashes, pulling a figure out of my rear end. I can't wrap my mind around why you would think you, who I can safely assume are not a road engineer, would be the only voice to notice and suggest the most obvious, childish, unrealistic solution - the only voice in this thread - but, actually, I can wrap my mind around it, and it's because you rated your problem-solving so high, and cared so very little for every other poster in the thread, that you just had to get your stunted thoughts down onto data to, what, get forum accolades? For proposing a meaningless fix to a source of good videos? What the gently caress? Clever boy! If you're reading this drat thread, you should be expected to read every post, carefully, meticulously, to ascertain its content before saving or discarding. The entire point is that when the last judgment occurs the one with the dopest and funniest pics will be Jesus's winner. This thread ought to have a very high schaden-to-noise ratio and a big ol gently caress you to anyone who blithely brings it down. You're ruining us all, and you're ruining yourself.

There's a reason they call them risk factors. Living a pathologically unhealthy lifestyle ups the odds of getting all kinds of horrible aliments, and cancer is no exception.

I know a guy that did that to a fancy decorative aluminum one. His solution was to steal the light post and try to sell it to the scrap yard to finance the repairs to his truck.

That kid is awesome. He does not belong in a fail compilation. Actually a lot them didn't seem like "fails." Whole thing is pretty great. I especially like the unimpressed yoga cat. (Ok, all the cats.) And what exactly did the motorbike dude hope to accomplish by kicking the car? Jesus that looked like a nasty tumble. :stare:

$685.00 for a power pole, at least according the the claim notice I got from my insurance company.

As a postscript, the power company just ended up burying the lines where I took out the pole. Guess they figured that was a safer prospect.

This is giving me bad flashbacks of the time I was at school camp and my "friend" whom I shared the room with had the great idea of spraying an entire can of Axe in the room while I was out. It was really hot inside and his thought process was that "deodorant = less sweating, therefore deodorant everywhere = cure for sweating". That guy wasn't very bright, and I had to spend the night sleeping in the hallway.
