Asking a question for my dad: Is there a menu option somewhere in the PS4 system to just turn off controller vibration globally? My dad has arthritis in his knuckles and when the controller vibrates it hurts his hand, and I don't want to crack it open and take out the gyro motors if I don't have to. edit: He lives 20 minutes away and it will save me a trip to his house so if the answer is yes please tell me because I'm a real lazy fucker

Yeah, if you go into Devices > Controllers there's an option to turn off vibration completely.

Completed Day of the Tentacle just now. Time to work on getting the platinum, which should be very easy for this game. You can actually do it in your first playthrough if you plan it out in advance which I did not do but that is okay. It just takes about an hour to get through the whole game.

If someone actually wants a PSVR, head to a Gamestop. Their $100 deposit is keeping scalpers away. I was only the third person to reserve one stopping in at 5:30PM. It's the PS Vita all over again.

Download the Trackmainia Turbo open beta going on right now. Fun cars, go fast. It also includes track building/sharing and local split screen. I recently got back into playing some racing games, and like you found out that the driving sim games were not entertaining for me. Additionally I focused in on functional and easy in/out multiplayer. Two games that I picked up: -GTA 5 has enjoyable non sim driving, along with a ton of other content obviously. Multiplayer connectivity is kind of lovely and if you are only interested in racing online can be kind of a crap shoot. -The Crew: Wild Run (or just base Crew for really cheap) has very easy drop in/out pvp lobbies and interesting modes besides just 'RACE', huge world too. The driving is fun, but the initial controls are poo poo and required some googling to set it up so it wasn't driving a land boat.

Trackmania feels extremely inspired by Wipeout and I love it. The F1 speed and some tracks really capture it. Its got a good mix of sim and arcade. I especially like how tracks sometimes start as an arcadey "gently caress, how do I finish this" thing and an hour later I was analyzing apexes trying to shave portions of seconds off the same track. I haven't got into gently caress YOUR LEADERBOOOOARD mode harder than the fifth track in the beta, the three laps one in drift mt land, in a long rear end time.

So is it just me, or is GTA: San Andreas complete and utter garbage? Long and boring missions, crazy difficulty, uncontrollable vehicles, no cheats, and I have to regularly eat and workout? And I can't even buy a gun or amor? And my reward is having my fellow gang members yell at me for not catching the "drat train"? Well maybe if you weren't such a garbage shot I wouldn't have to! I just spent a solid 5 minutes gunning down people on a motorcycle, just to get blown up at the last second by a guy spawning directly on top of me. Seriously, I've 100%'d all the other GTAs, and I hate this. Why is this considered one of the best games on the PS2?
