Ugh, looking for overseas jobs for the past 20 mins or so was  as hell.95% of jobs require current residence in Japan / a visa. Approximately 30% require considerable Japanese skill (a lot of overlap), 3% are for jobs that I would hate (so, elementary school and below, with maybe 2% being jobs I'm both qualified for and at least semi-interested in. Add that together with local positions being as barren as the surface of the moon (and even when you do get hired, no guarantees you'll be there for long, through no fault of your own). It's tough out there. Real tough.
