(also sorta surprised but not that Matt's Script Archive is still alive) Slashdot is another example, though it's been updated significantly over the years. I kinda like the threaded format, it works really well for some kinds of discussions.

I don't post there because it's a pain in the rear end format, but it's a pretty valuable resource for a lot of things like fixing technical issues with things, sharing live streams (sometimes legit) of sports, and self-posted boobs.
