What is Trump going to do in the general? Come out even harder in favor of addressing inequality? His base in the GOP, dedicated though they are, have a list of positions they don't tolerate a mile long. Nearly anything he can say or do to attract more diverse voters will alienate others. And most of his GOP opponent can't even attack his policy because it's textbook GOP orthodoxy. It won't be easy for Hillary but I definitely think that it will be an uphill fight for Donald Trump. So many people in this country loathe him it's actually astonishing.

If Trump neutered both establishments, and unifies a majority of working class Americans, he will have accomplished more than any politician since FDR or JFK. I tell Bernie supporters that if Hillary wins the D nomination, they should vote for Trump. While they may not like his short-term policies, it is better for the country to crush the establishment cronies that have our country headed down the wrong path.
