Turok is the new Jack Keane. Not that I have anything against Turok, but 13 bucks for it when at a discount?

Turok's full price at $20 was ridiculous because it wasn't worth that much money, it'd cost $9.99 at the very least. So the $13 discount is a joke.

An FMV game that won Best Narrative...okay I guess that made sense, it was 'Her Story' after all.

Don't get me wrong, I did think the game's concept was interesting and it was nice and experimental. But that's all it was...interesting.

I wouldn't say it's got "game award" or "game of the year" material.

Which they are selling for a whole 3 dollars. Take your head out of your rear end, dude.

Like, I'd take more offense on loving Hunie Pop (a porn game) or Neptunia (complete poo poo) being sold on GOG and even been given a prominent place on a big sale, and they were priced higher than Her Story was, and they still sold in a matter of seconds/minutes, so

To be fair, at least buying Her Story sounds more reasonable than buying Turok at $13.

I recently got Hatoful Boyfriend as one of my free games, I don't know why it seemed like a reasonable game to redeem nor do I know what do people see in that game. It's just a dumb romance visual novel and yet it's being sold on GOG?

Oh, totally. Turok was the Jack Keane 2 of this sale. If they had put up big quantities of it, it would still be there.

Planescape: Torment is one of my favorites. And on that note, so is Hatoful Boyfriend, because they take a goofy concept and make it really, really dark as a twist. Pretty well written for what it is.

This loses a lot of its lustre, when you can't save your games. Unless I'm missing something, the whole thing crashes whenever I attempt to save, no matter the game.

It seems like the free game thing is a bit out of whack, I got Tales from the Borderlands at 9 games also.

It's possible you bought multiples games at once. Some games are sold in bundles, like the Anno bundle or Legend of Kyrandia bundle, and that may have pushed you over the gap.

Just out of curiosity, I kept buying cheap games around $1 or $2 to see how low I could make the counter go before I got another free game. The limit is 5, yet it awards me a free game when I "need to buy 2 more games."

It looks like they ran out free game keys. The counter is gone, and is now replaced with "Oh no, our stock of freebies just got wolfed down." Maybe that's why people were getting keys without having bought ten games.

Runestone Keeper is basically Desktop Dungeons-lite while still being complex enough to hold your attention. For the 5 bucks they're asking for it, it's a steal.

I just finished Aquanox after having it sit in my account for literally years and it was pretty good. A bit on the janky side for someone used to freespace-style aim assists and craft tended to bump into one another slightly too much but it's overall a fun vehicle combat sim.

Is the second one also good, better or worse?

Great.

Anyone here played Din's Curse? I don't play a lot of ARPGs, but I'm wondering if I should be vacuuming up loot in this game to sell or if it's better to just leave it in the dungeon and focus on those time-limited quests instead.

like almost every other ARPG now, unless there's something special about it, it's probably not worth your time if the name shows up in white
