Any idea what they're doing trying to reach the pole? It's been a long, long time so I've completely forgotten if it was mentioned before. Otherwise, I was only able to refrain from audible glee and dancing through grim perseverance and the will of the Twelve Gods. I missed these guys!  It's not like I can get my fix of genuinely Good, likeable paladins in many other places. In most fiction they continue to be about as rare as unicorns IRL.

"Thank you once more for all you have done" "Please do not remind me of all I have done" is still one of my favorite little bits of dialogue in the comic. It says sooo much with very few words, something Rich Mc  isn't very prone to writing most of the time.

It's funny you should mention that, because I've been trying to beat Dark Souls 1, this time with a Dex/Faith build using medium armor, katanas, and huckin' lightning bolts.
