Abigail really does need to stop eating rocks. It is bad for the digestive track. No amount of fiber is going to counter that habit!

Abigail has unusual hair because she is actually the child of the wizard and one of those pinkish-purple birds from the title screen. She eats rocks because her gizzard needs gastroliths in order to effectively grind up the food that she swallows whole.

At least in my character's lesbian marriage to Abby we can't have some freakish, gem-eating children.

If you have a same sex marriage in this do you eventually adopt kids or something, or are kids just out of the picture entirely?

Vincent told me he wants to marry Penny when he grows up, so I dunno.

Even after my marriage to Leah, Penny keeps saying stuff like "it must be fun living on a farm" - "it must be tough cleaning all that stuff by yourself".. I kinda feel quilty for not rescuing her from the trailer life. But maybe fixing the community center would help, I always felt that Penny would be the person to run things there and keep a school for the kids alongside.

Getting it out of Greenlight would be my guess. A lot of the shovelware on Steam get there because they have an established publisher release them on steam under their name. It is the easiest way to get onto Steam and not be stuck in greenlight forever.

So I got myself back to where i was in my first game, but in a much, much better position, as I went into summer with 10k monies so I was able to get a lot of seeds to start off the season. I've tapped at least one of each tree so I can tell the difference between the oak and the maple, and I'm going to try to tap all the remaining maples on my farm so I can be a proper canadian and give everyone maple syrup daily.

My biggest problem right now is descending deeper into the mines. I'm stuck on level 18, as its full of the fast flying bugs, and I just can't kill them fast enough to not come out a bleeding mess.

I had the same problem, it took me a disappointingly long time to reach level 20. Honestly I'd just bite the bullet and spend some money on a not-poo poo sword from the adventurers' guild.

The beginning sword is woefully incapable of dealing with those bugs well, but if you can make it to floor 20 there's an upgrade which will see you in good stead for a long while. If you're close to 20 but running low on health or time, you can always craft yourself a portable staircase out of 99 stone and use it to skip a floor.

Except Stardew was Greenlit like literally a month or so that Steam Greenlight was a thing. It was in the second batch of games that Steam approved.

So I'm confused about why he even needed a publisher at all. Maybe he wanted them to take care of the website and wiki hosting and the forums for him?

It doesn't. Sorry the one developer of the game didn't use his orb of seeing to anticipate every problem you would ever have to fix them. It's almost like he knew not everything would be perfect and made a way for others to easily change things?????
