I really have to wonder how long FFXV is gonna be. It looks like it's kind of going to be a series of setpieces strung together by larger field zones with sidequests but considering the time frame of actually-started-development I wonder if it'll be relatively short for a FF. (Please note that is not intended as a complaint or a bad thing.)

They just recently gave a ballpark of fifty hours. It was forty before, but they felt they had added so much they needed to bump it up.

As someone who hasn't played a full FF game since X, FF15 looks pretty great. The platinum demo is a nice bonus too. The anime is eh, mobile game looks poo poo, and the movie is baffling though.

It'd be cool if they timed it out so that you get the airship upgrade by the time that higher speed travel between distant locations becomes a necessity.
