Speaking from experience, don't auto-follow Medullah on a holocron run. You will fall in a pit/aggro the whole map/get led to your death (on purpose, most likely). Also, be a Jugg. That helps a lot in a bunch of places. Let some other sucker do all the hard work and intercede to them.

Yeah I'm extremely bad at datacron running. Better than being a Juggernaut though now would be a Powertech tank. Let someone else do the work then trade places with them so they have to do it again.

The last time I played this game was 6 months after launch, after I needed a break. I haven't gone back since, until last night, when I did. Holy cow a lot has changed. It's like they took SWTOR and slapped advertisements and "BUY NOW" signs on every conceivable feature. Also, I have 50 different skills and a ton of screens and features I don't even recognize available to me. I'm not even sure of where to begin, honestly, aside from pressing 1 to attack. Questions: - Is there a way to set 1 to auto-attack so I don't have to keep pressing it? I know GW2 has that, and it was pretty sweet. - What's going on with companions? I got like 5 messages full of duplicate companion gear, and khem val doesn't even have gear anymore (except for his weapon). - What other things should I know or start doing now that cropped up since SWTOR launch?

As far as "I have 50 moves!" really the majority of the moves you use in combat will fit on 1 quickbar, 2 if you PvP or raid. Going to Dulfy and reading up on your class is a good idea so you know what to use. If you use a "Start at 60" character, it will put you into tutorial mode which limits the moves you get so you can settle into them as you go through KOTFE.

I actually have a quickbar set with my rotation, which means in some cases, icons are duplicated. But it clears it up so I can use the opening/rotation quickly and then intersperse as needed when doing PvE or the like.

Should I just bother anyone who shows up in a who search for Goon Squad to be invited? My main trooper just hit 51 (when I came back a week ago or so she was like 45) and I went ahead and threw a sub at the game to get the expansions. I'll probably stay subbed until I stop playing because having quest rewards be unavailable bothers me more than it should. I'm... I'm still in Chapter 1. What was I even DOING with this character? (Other than the Nar Shaddaa Bonus series which apparently is a level 60+ thing now)

Yes, but make sure you change the filter to guild to find one because it can find Goon in player names too.
