Regarding gold points you get for buying poo poo

"This mission can be completed either by purchasing software directly from Nintendo eShop or by redeeming a download code for software in Nintendo eShop. The amount of points will be determined based on the price of the respective software in Nintendo eShop at the time of purchase or redemption."

Oh, and Gold Points are automatically assigned, you don't have to go click a "collect" button for them. That's handy.

Flipnote Studio 3D is distributed exclusively via the official Nintendo website.
You only have to visit the Flipnote Studio 3D game page on the official Nintendo website and select the "Free Download" option there.

This is the link to save someone from having to search for it. I think you need to allow third-party cookies, but if you have never messed with your browser settings don't worry about that.

Hrm...annoying thing I just noticed; the Gold points for game purchases bottom out at $5 even. A $4.99 Virtual Console or indie game purchase will get you nothing.

The Gold Coins aren't a straight 10% cashback like the old Premium system - there are incremental tiers every $5 or $10, maxing out around 80 Coins for a $60 purchase.

80 coins requires a $70+ purchase. You get 70 for a $60-$69.99 purchase.

80 gold is $50 for Russia. Which is dumb, because most big games are priced at 35 in our eshop.

Trailer for Chronicles of Teddy:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HE035qNfB4

It's described as "a 2D platforming epic with RPG elements, Chronicles of Teddy has NPC interaction, over 30 hours of gameplay and plenty of unlockables."

Considering it also came out on the PS4 about two days ago, there may be people who tried it there. The art style looks rather weird to me from the trailer but it could be one of those things that grow on you as you play it.
