i'm not going to pass it but i honestly don't really care 2 of my co-workers failed it earlier this month and one of them basically said that after reading the whole book twice, half the questions she got had terminology in them she had never seen before it's like how am i supposed to prepare for a test when the materials provided don't actually have all of the information also from the description of the exam it's for developers with 2+ years of experience doing this poo poo every day and spoilers: i'm an analyst who has never needed to create an index or trigger in my life and have never really had to care about the idiosyncrasies of transactions and isolation levels and poo poo basically what i'm saying is it's really stupid that my employer is even making me take this test because 90% of it doesn't apply at all to my job function, yet here we are

i'm an ops analyst i'm basically a data gatherer/report builder i handle one-off data requests from executives about our customer population and order histories and things like that for all of our different products as well as SSRS reporting on metrics/current programs/etc also the other half of my responsibilities is external transaction management, i.e. dealing with dumb malformed bullshit our business partners send us. i don't deal with EDI as we have an external translator for that but I have to deal with fallout from our business processes behind the scenes expecting data a certain way when it doesn't actually come in that way

Tbh most of the games mods are good now. I still don't love Shalinor but that's just 1 of 4 and doesn't count ZDR who is also cool and does mod stuff in here sometimes. Kewpuh isn't a mod anymore tho.
