Sure, but the main inspirations were Welsh for Sindarin, and Finnish for Quenya. He was really into Kalevala at one point. The story of Turin Turambar is more or less Kullervo with elves and dragons.

Are the old Kummelis being shown as historical artifacts, or as sketch shows. Why would you show old shows like that as legit sketch shows for today? That's the difference IMO on whether cutting or censorship is acceptable. So in this case I agree with ligur, shame.
