Sadly not, Peter Sauber and Monisha Kaltenborn (owns 33.3%) are not at the race this weekend because they are in Switzerland trying to sort out finances. We know this as fact because the FIA gave this as the reason they were not being fined for not attending the team principle's press conference. I don't think the dislike of Sauber has anything to do with the team, Its Monisha people don't like and it's the same with force india and VJ/Lotus and whoever owned them. Constant bitching about a lack of money and voting against development, which has seriously stunted the sport, to "keep costs down", when the reality is that financial mismanagement and an inability to find sponsors is why they are broke. Take force india, they look like they have loads of sponsors but when you look closely they really don't, even their title sponsor is one of the companies VJ used to own and it is unlikely that they actually get any money from them any more.

A comparison to Eddie Jordan might be more apt VJ may be a criminal but I don't think he's ever pissed the fans and paddock off like Eddie did. My point is that people were calling for Monisha to be fired, but no one wanted the team to fail like this, bought out by someone else like what happened with BMW yes, but not to lose them completely .

We liked him when he was getting away with owing billions because he was using that ill-gotten money to fund an F1 team, and as a result wasn't overly fussed if drivers came with big sponsorship packages or not. But he's broke now and unless the team gets bought by someone at the end of the year it's going to fold.

So close... In Islam Jesus is a prophet so having a Jesus pendant is totally ok, but the Quran categorically states that he was not crucified so having a Jesus pendant with him wearing a crown of thorns is staggeringly offensive. Someone might want to tell him that "Khaneeth el oood" does not mean "you look nice Lewis" after all. learnincurve fucked around with this message at 22:52 on Apr 3, 2016 |

The thinking probably was that at best Ferrari supported drivers have not ended up driving a Ferrari. Massa is really the only one who did and he was pretty much a B driver. If Grosjean wanted to drive for Ferrari I wouldn't have suggested going the Ferrari B team route, but then again he has been able to really showcase his talent at Haas where if he stayed with Renault he'd be puttering around with the Manors and Saubers right now.
