My blood has been boiling for years over the absolute garbage that gets passed off as arm's length transactions so the ecstasy I experienced upon hearing of this leak is close to indescribable. Every time someone says the word "Panama" it's like 400,000 orgasms going off at once.

Older Auspol goons might remember the Big Fuss made about Naughty Russians stealing Good American Funds and using a Bad Bank to hide the ledgers, it was partly responsible for Nauru being pressured (no doubt with US help) to stop being a tax haven and why not, apart from that and the casino it was the only thing making them money. Isn't history fun? This leak is amazing. At least we might understand several events better, and the mechanics of how political donations, humanitarian aid, defence contracts and executive profits mysteriously disappear. I'll be surprised if nothing connected to several wars doesn't crop up (40 years!), hopefully the Iraq one, perhaps even the fallout from the Cold War. What about our rascals like Bond and Skase? The mind boggles at the potential.

Personally I cannot wait to watch Four Corners tonight, hell even QandA and 730 for any information to warm my heart. I am very excited to see what I can find out about Illegitimate President Assad pertaining to a book I'm writing on the events of the Syrian War. All I know so far is that Bashar al_Assad has at least two cousins linked to this leak, and I'm hoping for juicy information.

Popcorning the poo poo out of 4 corners right now. Seriously how can you not own hundreds of multi story carparks, charge 10 bucks + an hour with minimal upkeep and still need to hide your money away? Won't someone think about the poor guillotine-smiths who have been locked out of business for centuries?

I'm not convinced there would even be a nation anywhere they'd be certain of getting protection in. Someone should start pushing for the ATO to get some ASIO like powers to help track this sort of thing. It'll never happen because of the rich mates of the political class but forcing them to try and explain why it isn't necessary would convince a few more voters that they're corrupt shits.

It's like pulling up next to a cop in your car and there's a pedestrian-shaped dent in your bonnet, your windscreen is covered in blood, a mangled bicycle is strapped to your roof and a suspiciously lumpy rolled carpet is sticking out of your rear window. Technically they can't say you've definitely committed a crime, but it's really likely that you have. Pretty much the sole reason tax haven shell companies have to exist is to hide money and assets from governments (and spouses looking for a divorce). In itself, it's not evidence of a crime, but it's really likely that you've committed one.

Muir has minimal chance under the new optional preference system, unless for some reason Victorian Labor decided to preference the Australian Motoring Enthusiast ticket on their senate how to votes cards. I suspect they won't. That said, the Senate tickets will have the Party logos will be on the groups, and AMEP apparently want a stylised version of Ricky Muir's face as their logo so if people do want to vote for him they'll be able to find him on the ticket pretty quickly.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him put relatively high on quite a few ballots, but maybe just being a bit optimistic about that. Also the AMEP party becoming the Ricky Muir party would be a pretty great move on their part. If they do get his face as the official logo they're as well as half way there.

Pyne is surely losing his seat next election over the way the Federal Government has treated South Australia, Morrison is a joke who only can put things into neat sound bites and slogans and there's no way the right wing will let Bishop be leader.
