It's not like a manual swap for something of that era is going to be super-complicated (probably).

You need to find a way to keep the buttons but use them for the manual box.

Why do you even want a manual transmission in a car that's made for leisure cruising?

That price seems a little high even with the hydraulics. They're pretty preppy little vans though, those engines are bulletproof and pick n pull has a ton of them so there's plenty of parts available.

I'm going to try and see the Valiant today, but meanwhile, presumably in an effort to dissuade me from the Valiant, my wife has started sending my craiglist links. This looks pretty drat nice, I have to say: http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/5472530019.html Edit: turns out it was from Pennsylvania originally and has plenty of rust bubbles. I'm not touching rust, gently caress that, I'm in New Mexico. Pham Nuwen fucked around with this message at 23:47 on Apr 2, 2016 |

This guy had a tale of woe when I emailed him about various poo poo-asses driving his truck uninsured while he's out of state, and he thinks his cousin did something to disable it until he could scrape together the money to buy it... I'm going to try and see it, try and get it running in the driveway if I like it. Paint looks pretty nice, and 3 on the tree is my poo poo. http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/5468830695.html

D: http://toronto.craigslist.ca/drh/ctd/5518157677.html "NOT YOUR EVERY DAY, RUN OF THE MILL, SPORTS CAR" Well with a 4 banger engine putting out 111hp then no, it sure isn't your every day sports car. From the side it looks like its melting: What dealership would take that car as a trade in?

That place does mechanical and body repair so I'd wager it's a car they got via mechanics lien.

Actually, about how much do ACR and R/T Neons go for? I kinda want a cheap autocrossing car, but I don't think I can spare the cash for one until next year. Is $1500 a pretty standard price or what?

Too bad it's an F100 instead of an F250; that's probably a 289 instead of an FE.

Rolling 25 until 1992 then they were like "gently caress that" or something, I guess, because it stopped at 1967.

The last time I was in Chicago was to get 4 Chicago deep dish pizzas for myself and a few other people on December 31st 1999. I was setting up an ISP and they paid a stupid amount of money for me to stay in their server room overnight from 10:00 pm 12/31/99 - 4:00 am 1/1/00. Mind you we just finished setting it up. They were worried about y2k compliance.. Whatever.. They were stupid and I installed their poo poo for an exorbitant sitting fee and played Unreal Tournament the whole time on their dime while eating Chicago deep dish pizza, I suppose that was the idiot tax. A few days later I took a flight back to CA and have never even thought about going to that area of the US ever again.
