Anyone else feel like this season is just kinda plodding along? I used to look forward to this show all week, but now I'm just sort of catching up with episodes a few weeks at a time when I'm bored.

I'm still loving the show. Last week's episode was a bit meh, but this one still met (the very high) expectations. By the way, isn't Jake supposed to be a fan of the Nets?

Compared to other shows, like Once Upon a Time's Ginnifer Goodwin's pregnancy-hiding shenanigans, this one does it better. Maybe it helps that Melissa Fumero has a very dainty face.

I think this was one of the best episodes of the show ever. The end with Gina alphaing pimento & then Boyle bringing her down with his betaing & his smug smile was just hilarious. Plus I really liked the other 2 plots as well.

But...the statute of limitations on burglary is 2 to 5 years in New York. So there's no way they could prosecute that guy, anyways...

He's posing as crippled, there's probably other charges they can bring him up on. Anyways, it doesn't matter for the story. The only point was to show that Jeffords was right.

It would have been funnier if he just honestly had no idea he was being an inconvenience. Also the joke with Gina being tougher than him because she worked in a sunglass hut fell flat. I still like him and hope he is a recurring guest but it makes me happy we don't have characters like the Vulture or the Pontiac Bandit on multi-episode arcs like this.

I really hope Pimento becomes a permanent character on the show whenever they solve his murder. He's great with Rosa. He doesn't need as much screen time as the other main cast but it'd be nice to see him pop up every once in a while.
