Before 2.3 I believe, once you timed out, if there was still time left in the match, you could rejoin. At least it always put me back into the same match, whether i T/O or CTD. Now, it just searches for the next new match. When you are trying to earn REC to try out ships and you don't have a lot of time to play, throwing 10-15 minutes and 600-1000 REC to the wind is heart breaking. I cope by hoping the next match i get into has at most 10-15 minutes left in it... but that rarely happens on a reconnect attempt."

Why is this seen by so many as a superior alternative to a VR solution? Surely it can't be the "I don't want to look like a dork" factor.

No idea. They're about equally crazy in my book, but perhaps it's because one has been around for awhile? Microsoft uses a similar setup to show off Forza at E3 and there are a number of racing fans who've had those setups for years. Papyrus games used to support specialized multi-monitor outputs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYdvkIsrzUI

Yup. Now take a moment to think about what untold damage he's doing to his shoulder joints whenever he tries to put his arms out in front of him.

I used to be fat. 5'9'' 250 lbs. Being fat for most of my life has done permanent damage to my knees. I had to give up my dream of being a military pilot because both of my knees are kaput. I need rarely play my favorite sport, basketball, because of my knees too. Being fat robbed me of happiness even after I lost the weight.

Now imagine Ben who is probably closer to 3 times that weight and has been fat 100% of the time. All the joints on his body are hosed. He will lose his ability to walk as his knees and back give out. His legs are bowed because of the fat and that causes a poor walking gait which causes more problems. Not even to mention his resting heart rate is probably well over 100 bpm. So his heart is enlarged and overworked and couple that with clogged arteries and you've got heart attacks waiting to happen.

And that's if his sedentary lifestyle + extreme obesity doesn't give him blood clots that give him a stroke or aneurism.

We all poke fun at Ben but he really is gonna die if he doesn't make positive change in his diet and lifestyle ASAP. His health is seriously permanently damaged already. Get help.
