This is the party that blew the 08 election while happily running Sarah Palin against Obama and then decided the best course of action would be to hand the keys to her biggest fans for 8 years, and then didn't even stop to think that hard about it until 8 years later when Donald loving Trump had amassed an insurmountable delegate lead in their primary. Hard decisions and hard work aren't exactly pillars of the GOP soul these days.
