How are American bookies seeing Josuha va Martin? Struggling to find that info from here in the UK, just defaulting to UK sites and results on google.

Josuke Higashikata posted:How are American bookies seeing Josuha va Martin? Honestly it's not really something you can probably even get action on in the Vegas sportsbooks so nothing from the biggest odds makers like Westgate and MGM Grand. Only thing I can find are some of the 'grey market' US facing sites like Bovada (-600 AJ/+400 Martin) and 5dimes (-550/+425). These seems about right. http://www.oddsshark.com/boxing/odds EDIT: Also apparently Algeri is +850 vs Spence. Maybe I'm really overrating Algeri and/or underrating Spence but that seems like a 2-1 for Spence at best. http://www.vegasinsider.com/boxing/odds/futures/ The SituAsian fucked around with this message at 20:31 on Apr 3, 2016 |

How the gently caress do you even read those odds? I'm used to ratios.

So if I'm -400, then you would have to bet 400 dollars on me to win 100 back. The plus bet means that's how much you win if you bet $100 on it. So if I'm +250 and you put $100 on me, you'll walk away with your $100 plus your winnings of $250.

Good news about Blackwell. Now time for some laughs.Bad Left Hook posted:Apparently Manny Pacquiao is no longer beloved the world over as he was attacked yesterday by a man who rushed him outside of a Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles. Laughing at this Martin vs Joshua press conference going on right now. Sky Sports interviewer: "How do you feel about coming to the O2 in London? Is it a huge thing? Does it feel geared towards Joshua?" Martin: "I've fought in the Madison Square Garden so... " (read: who gives a gently caress about the O2. Which is true)

Does anyone else remember when fatherdog dropped the banhammer on Alex Ariza after he showed up in a boxing thread and started posting about how Pacquiao was a C-Level fighter

It wouldn't have been Ariza anyway because he was badmouthing Pac and that was back when Ariza was still working with Pac.

Woah woah woah. The guy got what was coming to him and I thought banning him was hilarious, but dude I'm like 90% that was Alex Ariza and I think it was shortly after roach fired him. Evidence pointing to it being Alex Ariza: - Said if we knew who he was, we would beg for autographs - Handle was ShitPoop69 or something like that - Said steroids are good and old mens stomachs were for kickin' - He was real fuckin fired up for no reason about how much Pacquiao sucks
