AnimEigo started releasing it on VHS in the 90's, I wonder how big a room you'd need for it all. iirc it was five episodes per tape which was a lot back then but you'd still need at least a bookcase. I don't think they ever finished it though.

He couldn't fly, he couldn't spit coconuts and he had a invisible timer where if you took to long to get through a section he would drop you regardless if your close to the drop off point or not. The bird you race in 2 is named Screech

2 is definitely the best of the DKC games. I replayed them all last year and my take is 2>1>3. I swear over 90% of 3 is composed of gimmick levels, it gets exhausting.

It's so atmospheric that I love it just for that alone. Also, I'm the weirdo who doesn't just like DKC3 the least, but I actually dont think it's a good game, or that much fun. To bloated, too gimicky, the aesthetic feels way off from the first 2 games....
