Gotta feel bad for all the LGBT folks who just got hit by a lovely law and now are losing even more poo poo, though.

Would have been better if they made it so that state can't look up anything BUT gay/trans porn. Have "the gays" take something away from THEM, maybe.

They need to do that, change all the titles of the gay/trans films so they sound like milquetoast hetero stuff, and swap out the preview images to match the new titles.

Yeah as another poster mentioned, net neutrality requires e.g. Verizon to allow equal bandwidth for accessing XHamster and PornHub, but says nothing about PornHub allowing equal bandwidth for connections from South Carolina vs North Carolina.

I love how one stupid, bigoted mistake leads to a massive domino effect. Pass a law that denies protections to LGBT people, then businesses refuse to come to your state or start leaving, which means fewer jobs for everyone, eventually turning NC into a bigger shithole than it already was. Nobody wins

Edit: ^^^^^ It looks like a swastika. I thought it was at first, although of course there are a couple extra lines. Oh what? The AG simply refused to defend HB2 saying it was unconstitutional. What happens if an AG won't defend a law? Does the governor appoint someone else for the case or something?

If the AG doesn't want to defend a law, the governor (or the legislature) can try and find an outside counsel to defend it, and since there's no shortage of various Wingnut "Coalition for Jesus/'Murica/FREEDUM!" groups out there, finding someone willing to argue that case in court shouldn't be too difficult.

Sex Scandal brewing. A lot of sex stuff lately in politics, weird. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/dc-madam-s-ex-lawyer-releases-new-documents-n554266 A lawyer who once represented the woman known as the "DC Madam" circulated documents Monday that he says contain the names of 174 government entities and businesses that were among the sources of phone calls to his former client. Wonder whose on the lists.

President Ark posted:yeah, my experience working jobs where i had to clean both bathrooms when i was younger was that, while the men's was usually a bit dirtier than the women's, if there was something horrifying in the bathrooms it was in the women's 100% of the time I concur. I used to clean the restrooms at K-Mart back in the day. Often the restroom was perfect and beautiful. Women's restrooms are like going to a spa compared to men's. But if it's a bad day, it boggles the mind. Sometimes, the only thing that you could think of was "where did you stand to create this atrocity?" In the ladies room I once saw what appeared to be someone swinging a diaper like a lasso above their head. I know it was a diaper because the left it behind the toilet. The bloody tampons left on the seat was a treat too. Probably my favorite is the "hover-pee" where the seat gets completely soaked in urine because of fear of touching the seat. That's probably the most common one.
