Wii U owners are going to get royally screwed over. We all invested in a console that Nintendo promised would have amazing support from game devs, instead it became yet another Nintendo only system and its already being phased out with some of their biggest IPs not getting any games on it.

I got in after the price drop at which point it was apparent that the thing would be an exclusive Nintendo Box

Nothing weird about that. The Gears games have never knocked my socks off but they've got pretty fun single-player campaigns and I always found the multi to be great. The active reload system adds a lot I find.

Yeah, I have no one near me that would be interested in tabletop games. Its sort of why I really like Tabletop Simulator a bunch, despite its sort of lovely "you can play this game a company made but they get $0" aspect with the mods for it.
