I like how talking about my parents' situation decades ago, likely before half of SA was even born, means nothing has changed for them or me in the meantime. Also I own a bunch of guns but like my cars, I don't post them online.

Fiber guys came and installed their poo poo yesterday. More than happy for $50 a month. It's even faster if I don't use wifi but who does that.

The hardcover of Emily Carroll's anthology, it was about a 100 euro cheaper to get it from Canada then the UK. If you're not familiar with her work you should 100% check it out His Face All Red

It's the coin from Lucifer. Keeping my fingers crossed that it prints correctly. The plastic ones will end up looking fine (no warnings or anything) but the metal ones have some issues/warnings on the site. Either way, they have a coupon so screw it, gonna give it a whirl.

The trick to making great popcorn is to put half a cup of kernels into a large pot, throw in a fourth a cup of canola oil, put on maybe a bit over half a teaspoon of Flavacol, cover it with aluminum foil, and then poke some holes in there to vent the steam. Put it on over medium, then shake occasionally while it's heating up and constantly while it's popping. At that point it's not a whole lot healthier than microwave popcorn, so it's definitely an occasional treat, but it's tastier and cheaper to make.
