I've certainly seen it the other way, some creepy older guy who has like a well paying job as a mechanic or plumber and some very unfortunate young woman who are both super into anime get together becuase he's got resources that she could never dream of and he enables each other and everyone is just creeper out and asks them not to come around them anymore.

Some very heavy-set people look 20 years younger than they are, and some look 20 years older. The worst aging that I see tends to be the people that are very thin. The ones that look like skeletons. No collagen, no elastin, and you look like you're 100 at the age of 50. Collagen and elastin and you look like you're 20 even if you're 40. Like you said, it's super inconsistent. Everyone is different.

Also if you're dangerously skinny your hair will probably become weak and thin, leading more to the aged look. I was walking behind what I assumed was an elderly woman yesterday but when I saw her face she couldn't have been past her thirties.
